Systems & pricing

A practical starting point for every level of RV power.

Start with an affordable battery-charging system, choose premium components, or have a complete lithium and off-grid system designed around your RV. Published prices include a standard installation unless noted otherwise.

Solar starter systems

Simple installed pricing. Room to upgrade.

These systems are intended as useful starting points—not one-size-fits-all packages. Final equipment is matched to the RV and intended use.

Choose the equipment level

Good systems do not have to use the same brand or budget.

Utah RV Power can match component quality and features to the RV, the customer's goals, and the budget without compromising basic compatibility or safety.

Value

Carefully selected third-party components for customers who want useful solar performance without paying for premium branding.

Brand Name

Established RV solar brands such as Renogy or comparable equipment, with additional options for monitoring and expansion.

Premium

Higher-end components such as Victron and comparable equipment for advanced monitoring, integration, expandability, and larger systems.

Premium solar systems commonly start around $1,200–$1,500 installed, depending on array size, controller, monitoring, wiring, and the existing RV electrical system.

Lithium & complete off-grid

When the goal is more than charging batteries, the system becomes custom.

Lithium banks, inverter/chargers, DC-DC charging, whole-RV 120V power, air-conditioning capability, and large solar arrays are designed around actual loads and runtime.

These projects are custom quoted because battery location, cable lengths, distribution, existing equipment, roof space, and installation complexity vary substantially between RVs.

Complete System Design

Solar, batteries, inverter, charging, conductors, disconnects, fusing, monitoring, and distribution planned together.

Built Around Real Loads

Microwave, outlets, refrigerator, entertainment equipment, A/C and other loads are considered before equipment is selected.

Expandable When Practical

Future battery, solar, or charging expansion can be considered during the initial design.

Important

What “standard installation” means

Published installed pricing assumes suitable roof space and roof condition, reasonable access to the battery and electrical system, a typical cable route and cable length, and no existing electrical or structural problems that must be corrected first.

Unusual roof construction, difficult wire routing, extended cable runs, electrical modifications or repairs, specialty mounting, or other non-standard conditions may affect the final price. Any additional work and cost will be discussed before proceeding.

Already have equipment?

Customer-supplied components are welcome for review.

Solar panels, batteries, inverters, controllers, and other customer-supplied equipment may be installed after a compatibility and safety review.

Utah RV Power may decline equipment that is incompatible, inappropriate for the intended load, unsafe, damaged, or otherwise unsuitable for the installation.
